Acknowledging the Fund's support and using the logos
We have received requests from grantees for graphics in acknowledging the Fund's support. Use of the logo is not necessary, but we are pleased to make variants of the logo available for use. Please do not alter the logos in any way other than re-sizing them, keeping the proportions intact.
For text credits, the preferred credit language is: “Funded in part by The Aaron Copland Fund for Music, Inc.”
The three-note musical motif in the logo is taken from a reproduction of Copland's manuscript to Fanfare for the Common Man, as used in the finale to the composer's Third Symphony.
