The Recording Program has limited funding and is very competitive. For these reasons, applicants seeking support from the Recording Program must first apply to the Recording Program Preliminary Round. The brief application for this round asks for basic information about your proposed project. Musical samples and supporting documents are not required at this stage. A group of peer panelists will review the proposals. Only the most competitive applicants will be invited to submit a full proposal to the Recording Program.
Only applicants who have already submitted an application to the Preliminary Round and received an invitation from the Fund to submit a full proposal may submit an application to the 2018 Recording Program.
The deadline to submit applications to the Recording Program Preliminary Round is November 15, 2017 at 11:59 pm Eastern Standard Time. For more information, visit the program page to read the guidelines, and contact the Grants Manager if you have questions before beginning an application.
