Over the two decades of philanthropic support that the Fund has given to organizations in support of contemporary American music, we have received requests from grantees for graphics in acknowledging the Fund's support, for use in programs, web sites, CD inserts, and the like.
Until recently, the Fund did not have a logo to provide. However, along with the 2017 re-design of the Fund's web site and grant application interface, a wordmark and logo were created, and we are pleased to make them available for use.
There are four variants of the logo which may be downloaded in .png and .pdf formats.
For text credits, the preferred credit language is: “Funded in part by The Aaron Copland Fund for Music, Inc.”
The three-note musical motif in the logo is taken from a reproduction of Copland's manuscript to Fanfare for the Common Man, as used in the finale to the composer's Third Symphony.
